lastpass is a password manager that is simple to install. There are versions for Windows, Mac and Linux based computers.

lastpass stores your passwords in an encrypted file both on your system and on a secure website.

Here are the key points that they mention on their website:

• Create strong passwords, knowing you only have to remember one.
• Log into your favorite sites with a single click
• Fill forms in a second; stop pulling out your wallet to get your credit card number
• Access and manage your data from multiple computers seamlessly
• Share logins with friends and let others share logins with you

There are 3 variations on how you can get to your secure encrypted password, form and note storage.

1. lastpass Browser Plug-In / Toolbar - This is the most common use of lastpass as it is in your browser as you are using it.
2. lastpass web site - The website interface can be used on other computers that you have not installed lastpass on (such as a shared computer or a public computer,)
3. lastpass Pocket Edition - This application runs from a USB drive and has an encrypted list of your password and note storage.

You probably noticed that I mention password, form and  note storage.

lastpass lets you store not only passwords for your sites you visit, but you can store form information as well as notes on just about anything at all (such as maybe offline ‘password’ or ‘pins’ such as those bank ’secret’ questions.

lastpass is currently in BETA, and is available for FREE.

I asked about future pricing as it wasn’t initially spelled out in their FAQ and they assured me that there will always be a free version, and that they might charge for a more advanced “Enterprise” version.

The $7 Secrets is delivered as an PDF formatted ebook. The ebook is short and to the point describing the methods used by the original author selling a product.

What is unique is that these methods can be used to sell the ebook or just about any digital delivery product the same way.

Since the book was written, someone else has taken over the distribution of the ebook.

The key is that the book contains the information on the script used within the process. It currently has been upgraded to version 2.8 with a new version claimed to be available soon. The script is incuded as part of the eBook at no extra charge.

You can also sell the book to others thru the website (you don’t actually have resell rights, but there is a way to ‘resell’ it that is mentioned as part of the ebook.

The script itself is a bit tricky to setup (especialy if done in a sub-directory as opposed to the root HTML directory. (ie http://www.mouse-pad.com/ vs http://www.mouse-pad.com/7dollarsecrets/) but there is a support site and forum available.

For $7 it is a good value, however, to make the most of it, you need to take advantage of the affiliate program and/or the script.)

This site is centered around product reviews so we have installed reviewsPRESS to see how well it will function within our needs.

Installing reviewsPRESS was so simple that I actually went back and re-read the manual to make sure I didn’t miss anything.

It is configurable to just about any review type as the review categories, and rating weights are configurable.

reviewsPRESS currently has 2 themes to choose from, but can be adapted for use in just about any theme.

The include themes are customizable via CSS and other basic formatting, as are most decent WP themes.

Although this is the first post using reviewsPRESS, I feel pretty comfortable with using it.

It is targeted towards a user or comment level rating of the product and not an author or post level rating. For example, I give it 5 stars in all areas, as it does meet its objectives for what is plans to be. However, I would like it to offer a post level rating (or an editor rating) in addition to the user level rating, such as you might see on a magazine website.
